The final focus of the shoot day was on employees. LeFever's focus extended to workers in process, time exposures showing action, posed exposures where low light and movement made capture impossible, portraits of workers on the job. Looking to tell the story of A To Z Metals the people are the heart of operation - testing metal compositions, operating machinery, moving piles of metal both raw and harvested, compacted, and baled. At day's end, A To Z had the beginning of a digital assets data base to be used in a multitude of ways to tell their corporate story.

In breaking down the subject, LeFever's second and third passes through the large facility, both indoors and out, focused on machinery in motion and as still life. The heavy machinery is emblematic of an industrial age and a key interest when describing the power of a company.
