New Photos for the new sanctuary. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa gets a face lift and Jeff LeFever was contracted for the day to collect stock photos. Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa is the original Calvary Chapel founded in 1965 by Chuck Smith who is still the senior pastor of the church. Pastor Chuck Smith became a leading figure in what has become known as the "Jesus Movement."
This particular sanctuary was opened in 1973 with its recent 2007 remodel being designed by architect Terry Jacobson.
