Q.2.2007 OUT & ABOUT: ROAD TRIP

Laguna Beach to San Francisco ...playtime.

Nothing like a drive up highway 1 along the California coast. Although the primary goal of driving to San Francisco to see the one night exclusive by Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Christian McBride and Brian Blade paying homage to Monk and Coltrane (in a recreation of the historic 1957 Carnegie Hall Monk/Coltrane show), a few stops along the way provided a some OUT & ABOUT photo ops in continuing the OUT & ABOUT series. Unfortunately, cameras were not allowed into the one night only event and so there are no photos of the jazz program. (but here is an external links to what was a phenomenal show: S.F.JAZZ
